White Trash Zombie Gone Wild

White Trash Zombie Gone Wild

This was of course another fun time with our favorite zombie and her friends. The language and dialogue continue to be perfect for these characters. They have all evolved, especially Angel, and have become more interesting with each subsequent book. I do have a good time when I read these books because I always laugh out loud at some of the things this girl seems to get herself into

Well the zombie movie they made in town is about to premiere and they have decided to make it a big deal that coincides with Fat Tuesday celebrations. Angel at first was not going to participate but when she is invited to be a VIP by one of her co-workers she changes her mind. There is something more going on at the opening that could spell a lot of trouble for the tribe as well. A mockumentary that claims zombies are real and seems to have proof.

Oh, and Angel has managed to get herself hooked on a drug when zombies cannot be. Her addictive personality kicks in and she ends up relying on a drug that was intended for zombies in combat. But when things get to there worse, our little White Trash Zombie comes to the rescue.

Definitely a good one. Enjoy!

How the White Trash Zombie Got Her Groove Back

How the White Trash Zombie Got Her Groove Back (White Trash Zombie #4)

This was a good story with twists and turns that made for a good mystery. I was drawn into the story right away and as usual the narration made it a very pleasant listen. The characters continue to grow and spread their wings. The language is what you would expect from characters who live in Louisiana with varying degrees of education.

Angel is back and things start to go wrong from the moment her day starts. The extra’s from the movie that was being made in town are continuing to die from the compound that was given to them by Saberton’s experiments on them. Marcus makes another of his bone head moves and Angel must once again show him she cannot be bossed around by him. Saberton makes a move on Pietro and causes trouble in the ranks of his organization. With a week like this it’s surprising she and her friends manage to survive.

This series is good for a laugh, a cry, and a feeling of romance. There is a lot going on and some of it is actually a little covert.

Booster & Reeves: The Night of the Revenants

This was not your typical zombie story by any means. When I started this I was unsure of where it was going to go, but it did take me to a pleasant place and made me like it and at least two of the characters a lot. The story may have been a bit odd but it definitely had something rather fun and whimsical about it. Booster and Reeves are both interesting characters who had an interesting chemistry that worked.

The story itself had a flow that was easy to follow once you knew what exactly was happening and allowed you to follow the progression with no problem. The characters themselves are a bit larger than life but fit well within the tale that is being told and you can’t help but smile at what they are attempting to do and the way they go about it.

Broderick Booster is a bit of a lay about, rich and idle, he likes to play video games where he kills zombies. Reeves is a manservant, Boosters manservant and undeniably the brains in the house. When the dead start to walk an unexpected visitor shows up at the door, Boosters Aunt Gertie who has been dead for two weeks. She comes to tell him that he can stop the dead from walking if he takes on the quest that she has come to tell him about. He and Reeves cannot refuse and take off to stop the madness before it can destroy everything in its path.

There is not a lot of carnage or violence but enough to satisfy. You do have the added bonus of black magic and time travel to balance that all out. These guys should have another adventure because they are so good together. Enjoy this for the light take on zombies and some interesting people.
